If you've never had the opportunity to hear the Capital Playhouse's amazing youth choir, Kids in Koncert, now's your chance. This group of kids, who sing all over the world, will be performing in a singing Christmas tree November 27th at 4:00 p.m. on Legion Way across from Sylvester Park in Olympia. You can catch their performance in the midst of your after Thanksgiving shopping. The singing Christmas tree is part of Olympia's annual Downtown for the Holidays event.
Kids in Koncert is part of a larger youth program through Capital Playhouse that includes both winter and summer sessions. The program offers classes in tap dance, musical theatre, choir, and acting. The upcoming 2012 theatre season will include blockbusters like, Little Shop of Horrors, Cinderella, The Whiz, and Annie. Kids in Koncert performs in a wide variety of venues as well as travels extensively to places like Japan, France, Washington D.C. and more.
