Change The Batteries In Your Smoke Detectors

Change The Batteries In Your Smoke Detectors

Image title

You all might know that my husband is a firefighter and a fire commissioner so I thought this little blog was appropriate.  Many of us do not realize that the typical smoke detector will last for 10 years.  And a Carbon Monoxide detector should be changed every 5 years.  So this year, you might want to not only change out your batteries but also get a new smoke detectors.  We changed ours last year, and got the smoke & carbon monoxide in one.  Changing the battery was very easy because it has a special slide out for the change.  Please contact me if you need any recommendations.
