I've had them all - $100 haircuts, $5 haircuts, sizzling style and unqualified disasters. I've come to decide after battling to find a good hairdresser in every new town, it doesn't matter so much the place, just the person. A good haircut, color and/or perm may be the most difficult to find when moving to a new location, but I can tell you that in Yelm, you don't have to look far for quality at a low price.
Jen and Nicole in the Yelm Walmart shopping center , SmartStyle, are a real value in hair care. Foil highlights or perms are only $44.95, while you pay only $15 for an adult cut and blow dry. Walk-in only hair salons can be rather hit-and-miss at best, but if you are willing to wait a bit, both Jen and Nicole can give you consistently great results every time for a fraction of the full service salon prices. You might miss out on some of the more exclusive offerings in product and atmosphere, but if you're more concerned by what you look like when you walk out the door, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find in these two ladies that a good hairdresser doesn't have to break the bank.

"Brandi's patience and professionalism is what I will carry with me from this experience. My home purchase became quite the extended mess, set back after set back, on the sellers part. Without Brandi's ability to explain all the steps we were having to take and retrace, I would have lost my patience. And not once during the whole stereotypical real estate "nightmare" did she lose her cool. Brandi made my first home buying experience one I'll never forget, in a good way!
