Time to Fall Back

Time to Fall Back

Daylight Saving Time will end at 2:00 AM on Sunday, November 6.

Be sure to set your clocks back 1 hour before you go to bed on Saturday night, November 5th.

Have you ever wondered how this whole Spring Forward and Fall Back thing all got started? We found a cool website with tons of information about Daylight Saving Time!

Did You Know...

  • It was Benjamin Franklin's idea
  • In 1965 Minneapolis and St Paul, MN didn't agree and had a one hour difference between them
  • The US change the date to allow for Halloween safety -- and it didn't matter anyway since most kids wait till after dark.
  • A bombing was thwarted

Find out about these situations and so much more -- like how it effects the rest of the world, birthdays, the Amish, and the DST Donut, just to name a few -- by visiting WebExhibits!
